What are we looking for?

As a Customer Solutions Engineer (EMEA), you’ll be responsible for delivering technical expertise and guidance throughout the entire customer journey from product evaluations and demos, to onboarding and long-term value realization.
This is a hands-on role that combines solution architecture, technical onboarding, and relationship management. You’ll work with a range of stakeholders from DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams across EMEA — while collaborating closely with your peers at Apono in Israel and abroad.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales (Evaluation & Architecture):

  • Support Account Executives during technical discovery and qualification.
  • Lead live demos, custom walkthroughs, and Proof-of-Values (PoV).
  • Design tailored solutions that integrate with customer infrastructure: cloud, IAM, CI/CD, and databases and more.
  • Address technical objections and guide prospects through successful evaluations.

Post-Sales (Onboarding & Success):

  • Own technical onboarding: assist with integration, configuration, and deployment.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact post-sale, ensuring product adoption and usage.
  • Monitor account health and proactively support expansion and optimization efforts.
  • Conduct customer enablement sessions and provide feedback to Product and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g. Solutions Engineer, TAM, DevOps Support, or Implementation Engineer).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), identity management, databases, and DevOps tooling.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, access management, and infrastructure tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Vault).
  • Understanding of access control, permissions models, and compliance/security needs in production environments.
  • Clear and confident communicator — able to translate technical detail into business value.
  • Comfortable managing multiple customer projects in parallel, especially across the EMEA region.
  • Based in Israel, fluent in English.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Background working with security-focused or compliance-heavy customers.
  • Prior experience at an early-stage or high-growth B2B startup.
  • Experience with cloud architecture and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
