We are a rapidly expanding, top-VC-backed startup with an exceptionally talented core team. In under 18 months, we have raised +$25M and are actively collaborating with major global manufacturers in the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Industrial Machinery sectors.

You’ll join a hands-on, execution-driven team where ownership is real, pace is fast, and impact is immediate.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Application Engineer to bridge the gap between our product and our customers’ real-world CNC workflows.

This role is ideal for someone with strong CAM programming experience who enjoys working directly with customers, solving complex machining challenges, and driving successful onboarding and adoption.

You’ll play a critical role in deploying our solution, ensuring customer success, and feeding real-world insights back into product development.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead customer onboarding: Guide new customers through implementation, setup, and first value.
  • Provide hands-on support: Work directly with CNC programmers to optimize toolpaths, strategies, and workflows using our AI co-pilot.
  • Deliver on-site & remote support: Troubleshoot, train, and ensure smooth adoption in production environments.
  • Act as a technical advisor: Understand customer machining challenges and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Run demos & POCs: Showcase product capabilities and validate value in real manufacturing scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Product & R&D: Bring structured feedback from customers to improve the product.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in multi-axis CNC CAM programming (must)
  • Hands-on experience with Mastercam and/or Siemens NX (preferred)
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as Application Engineer, Customer Success, Onboarding, or Technical Support.
  • Deep understanding of machining processes: milling, turning, tooling, feeds & speeds, and machining strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize real production parts.
  • US citizenship or Green Card (required for GovCloud and ITAR-regulated infrastructure)

Bonus

  • Experience working with large OEM manufacturers
  • Experience delivering technical training or workshops
  • Basic understanding of CAD/CAM integrations and digital manufacturing workflows
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
